Travel Money Belts And Travel Security

Saturday, June 28th, 2008

Travel money belts are still a good way to carry cash. They’re common, and thieves know of them, but it isn’t easy to tell if your belt has a hidden compartment, and it isn’t easy for a robber to get at it quickly. It is a good way to carry SOME of your cash when you travel. Here are some more ways.

Losing Money In An Ecuadorian Disco

Travel gets me thinking of ways to hide money. I had the idea that a hundred dollars, wrapped up in an ace bandage on my leg, would be safer than in money belts. It worked for ten days on our trip to Ecuador, until we went dancing. The cash danced to its own tune, which I didn’t even notice until morning. The lesson is to wrap it up tight, or don’t go dancing.

Hiding Money And Documents

There are travel options other than money belts for hiding cash and important papers. Use several of them, rather than putting everything in one place. Don’t carry too much cash. It’s easy now, almost everywhere, to access your money using an ATM, so carry enough for a few days, or a week at most.

There are pouches that hang under your shirt to carry your passport and other papers. They’re obvious if you’re wearing a light shirt, but then it is always hard to thoroughly hide a passport on your body. In any case, it isn’t easily accessible to pickpockets.

I cut a pocket from some old pants and used a safety pin to attach it inside my travel pants. This has worked well on several trips. It’s not noticible, and would be difficult for a thief to get at without taking off my pants. However, it is inconvenient when I’m asked for my passport, since I have to reach into my pants.

Hiding Money In Shoes

If the inner soles of your shoes are removable, put twenty dollars under each one for emergencies. This works well for me, but then I don’t have expensive shoes that could themselves be a target. It is just another place to hide cash, and you should always have several different ones when traveling.

Think creatively. Roll up a bill and put it in the handle of a disposable razor. Just don’t throw it away by accident. Find or make other hiding places. If your money is in several hard-to-find places, it will take a persistent thief to find all of your cash. Make robbers truly work for their living.

Hiding money in your hotel room requires some thought. There are many good places. Ask any thief, and he’ll tell you the best ones. Just choose a safe hotel and be careful. Of course, hiding things will at least reduce the temptation for bad employees and lazy thieves.

I once had a wallet stolen from a zippered back pocket. It was a decoy wallet, so the pickpocket’s skill earned him a few pieces of paper. Another time I had to drag a robber off a bus and wait for police, but his accomplice escaped with our money. Travel is about adventure, but fortunately we can avoid this kind most of the time.

The Beginner’s Intro to Cyber Sports Competitions Gaming

Friday, June 27th, 2008

Tips, tricks and strategies for all the top custom sports wager games here.

Bond together two of people’s primary leisure actvities and you’ll pinpoint something customarily termed a sportsbook. Well, what could be more creative… Fancy a band of fanatics cheering over a given chosen favorite sports club, and often bets will be proclaimed going with the racket. So very keen to catch more of the exhilaration, on-lookers customarily strive to augur who is the likeliest to prevail in the forthcoming competition. All this turns to become a warmhearted, amicable competition called sportsbook.

In order to bet, you’ll want to call on a sportsbook, that’s to say a place which offers sportsbook. In the USA, you will find four states where to do sportsbook gambling in a legit manner, but illegally you may try it anywhere you like providing you can hunt out a bookie and you’re of age. Many of the sports competitions you can choose to risk money on are professional in parallel with college basketball plus football, pro hockey, pro hockey, in parallel with horse and dog racing. Punters may choose to risk money on the total results of a game, at which point any given contester will go under, and even whether a coin toss in a game will come out heads or tails.

It stands to reason that there are multifarious brands of lays, the straight bets, where all you have to do is to choose the competitor which you feel will make it or fail being the best known in sportsbook gambling.

So why not check it out and enjoy the fun as well… Just be sure that you won’t get unduly carried away and use up your entire retirement fund on a boutade… Else, you will most likely end up contrite till the end of your life…

Brazilian Waxing: Brilliant Or Barbaric?

Friday, June 27th, 2008

Spring is here and summer is on its way. And that means that women are flocking to salons in search of a solution for those horribly embarrassing hairs that are always threatening to escape your bikini line. A surprising number of women are turning to a solution popularized on “Sex & the City,” known as Brazilian waxing.

If you’re familiar with what Brazilian waxing entails, you understand what “surprising numbers” means. If you’re not familiar with the term, you probably want to read on before you make your reservation …

What’s the Big Deal?

Quite plainly, a Brazilian wax is a salon hair-removal treatment (trust me, you don’t want to try this at home) where warm wax is used to remove unsightly pubic hair from your nethermost regions - front and back! Typically, with a Brazilian wax, you’ll be left with a small strip of hair (sometimes referred to as a “landing strip”). So, if you’re looking to go completely bare, you might want to clarify that in the beginning. This version of the wax is often known as the “Hollywood” or “Sphynx” Wax.

If you’re curious as to why anyone would pay someone to cover their most private parts with warm wax and then rip it off, read on about the advantages and disadvantages of having a Brazilian wax.

There Are Advantages?

Across time and distance, I can still hear a lot of women shrieking, “There are advantages?” And actually, there are - depending on who you ask. Some of the most commonly cited advantages are listed below (and don’t be surprised if you see the polar opposite statements on the other side of the fence).

• No more embarrassing escaped hairs
• It’s not as painful as you’d expect (okay, okay, quit snickering)
• No more razor burn or bumps
• You lover will most likely find the new look sexy and arousing
• You can have a wax done for as little as $25.00
• The pain is said to lessen with each waxing, and
• Many women report an overall improvement in confidence, especially regarding cleanliness and odor control.

Drum Roll, Please…The Disadvantages

It goes without saying that a Brazilian wax is going to come with some inherent disadvantages. And the most obvious is the pain. Have you ever had your eyebrows waxed? If so, imagine the procedure done on an area about ten times larger and infinitely more sensitive.

And there’s another kind of discomfort that some find a bit more traumatic than physical pain. Chances are, you’ll have to quite literally let it all hang out. And for the best end result, you may wind up finding yourself in some rather odd poses. Needless to say, the whole experience may leave you feeling silly and self-conscious, if not a little traumatized. Plus there are other, more minor drawbacks to consider…

• Some people may still experience bumps or irritation
• Since you have to wait 10-14 days in between waxings, you’ll still have to suffer through stubble.
• It can also be hard to find a salon that offer Brazilian waxes in smaller, less urban areas, and
• You might have to spend as much as $100.00 (possibly more) to have it done!

Think It’s Brilliant?

If you’re appalled at the thought of this procedure, your next move is clear - you mentally file Brazilian waxing away in your brain as a great way to get back at someone you really dislike. But what should you do if you’re still not scared? Your best bet is to do your homework (you’re off to a great start); then, start looking around for a good salon. Here are a few other things to think about:

• The credentials and experience of the person who’ll perform the procedure.

• Whether you’re really ready to go bare below. You might want to take it slow. Start with a standard bikini wax, then a Brazilian, and then maybe warm up to the Sphynx.

• Don’t try to trim or shave before waxing to “pretty up.” In order to work, your hair must be longer than “. Let them take care of it - it’s part of what you’re paying for!

• To get the most out of a waxing, find a quality hair growth inhibiting lotion. You’ll be able to go much longer between sessions!

So, what do you think - brilliant, or barbaric?

How Does Phentermine Work? Learn Pros & Cons Of Phentermine For Weight Loss

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

Phentermine, like many other prescription drugs, works with chemicals called neurotransmitters in your brain. It actually stimulates your neuron bundles to release a particular group of neurotransmitters known as catecholamines, these include dopamine, epinephrine (formally known as adrenalin), and norepinephrine (noradrenalin).

These neurotransmitters signal a fight or flight response in your body which, in turn, puts a halt to the hunger signal. As a result, you lose your appetite because your brain doesn’t receive the hunger message.

This drop in appetite is perhaps due to phentermine’s affects on leptin levels in the brain. It is theorized that phentermine can raise levels of leptin which signal satiety. It is also theorized that increased levels of the catecholamines are partially responsible for halting another chemical messenger know as neuropeptide Y. This chemical initiates eating, decreases energy expenditure, and increases fat storage.

What’s a Neurotransmitter, anyway?

Neurotransmitters are chemicals in your nervous system and brain. They act as messengers, relaying electrical messages between the cells (neurons) of the nervous system or brain. Some people have naturally low levels of neurotransmitters. This condition may lead to diseases such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and obesity, and others.

Prescription drugs work by moving neurotransmitters from one place to another, but do nothing to increase the supply of neurotransmitters in the nervous system or brain. These drugs trick your brain into thinking there are more neurotransmitters than there actually are. Because of this, your brain slows down the production of neurotransmitters.

How Can I Improve The Benefits Of Phentermine?

To learn more about how to help your body produce higher amounts of neurotransmitters, see the Phentermine tolerance report I have compiled:

Phentermine Tolerance Report

If anyone has anything to add about how Phentermine works, please do! Please correct me if I’m wrong about anything, and enlighten us if I failed to mention something.

The Blossoming World Wide Real Estate Marketplace: Futhered by Property Index Online

Friday, June 20th, 2008

Property Index can help with overseas property investment, view the properties available for investment.

Albeit Property Index is really a newcomer company, incorporated only in March 2007, they were swift to gain in reputation. De facto, they are a very accessible company entirely focused on offering guidance to every visitor planning to rent, buy, sell etc. land in the most popular regions of the world. They pledge to help you out unearth bang-on what you require quick not to mention without pain. Estate is at your fingertips in most areas of the world in our times, certainly the most fashionable area being property available for sale in Spain. It should really be no effort to write up the fabulous real estate you can purchase in Spain, one motivation for wanting properties here being the houses and apartments for sale and the mega cool option of spending your life amongst this effervescent populace.

It’s one of the truly favored countries in our times, and considering the scenic beauty and agreeable weather surrounding you, how could you ever say no… Estate in Spain is immersed in culture, art and history, this area of the world has been and still is home to a good many nations. Some 25-30 years back there was merely a dribble of English people looking for real estate in Spain. Ask just about anyone who has moved to Spain and they’ll back it up. Lots of people would tag it a transitory fad and others tag it a close to an infatuation… Clients interested in removing over here will typically range from young families looking for an exciting new challenge in life to the older generation who intend to take it easy and enjoy themselves.

Note that there may be quandaries when trying to buy real estate overseas — there will be hundreds of actions to bear in mind when devising a plan, popping in or finalising. If you miss out on a single action this will bring about sweeping quandaries not to forget, most importantly, financial damage. Obviously, as is to be expected with this well-liked region, real estate might be dear in this region which is purely a consequence of the expanding demand. Notwithstanding real estate buyers are truly spoilt in terms of choice in a destination so determined by bright environment and sensational scenery. It definitely has most all any of us may require, and then some.

Seecrets on Internet: An Ant Watching Giants Fight Part 2 (Google vs. Yahoo vs. Microsoft)

Friday, June 20th, 2008

As Marshall McLuhan, many regard as the Prophet of the Electronic Age, reminds us, “Control over change would seem to consist in moving not with it but ahead of it. Anticipation gives the power to deflect and control force.”

News of Google entering the payment arena broke in the third week of June 2005. This author’s article “Search Engine Wars - a Different Perspective”, two weeks earlier, made some allusion to it.

Google and Yahoo plans to index all classified ads from online newspapers. Readers can easily draw some useful conclusions.

Hints from Mountain View suggest that if your site does not accept ads from you-know-who, your site’s rankings may tank. Readers can then deduce there are a limited number of popular keywords and with a growing list of ads, they have to find lots of Internet real estate (web sites) fast as outlets.

This author’s take

Does anyone notice that Google News favor a few European sites and a Middle-eastern site? Is politics also a criterion in rankings?

This author’s site received its PR ranking on Bastille Day, 2005. A day later, the ranking dropped a notch. This evidence clearly made nonsense of some Google’s spokesperson official statement the rankings are updated once in a few months. Perhaps, it is just another day from DMV (Drunkards of Mountain View) as Joe Nogood stated. [Shame on you if you have not read this master class (well, almost master class) tutorial on keywords and relevancy written with original jokes. The folks at Redmond and Sunnyvale voted it as the best article of the year - just joking.]

Yahoo and MSN correctly favored originating sites when it comes to ranking same documents like free-reprint articles. Google has different ideas on origin sites - maybe, there is some truth that its search engine runs on burgundy, brandy and so forth - their search engines on occasion becomes tipsy. Is Google really serious on promoting original content?

MSN is the fastest when indexing new documents. However, after a week, Google inevitably will catch up and index more documents than MSN. Does the MSN search engine runs on Iraqi oil?

Search engines are works-in-progress. Compare this to the history of Windows - 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 3.10, 3.11. WfWg, 95, 95OSR2, 98, 98SE, ME, XP and XP-SP2.

Content originality is of prime importance. Fine-tuning with optimized keywords can be done gradually. When search engines become more “human”, your site does not need major surgery.

Google’s open-source / software patents dichotomy (contradiction) somehow doesn’t rhyme with their mantra of do-no-evil. This author would very much like to be proven wrong on this matter.

Do not fret over rankings. Intel has a PR10, yet when you search for “cpu” or “microprocessor”, guess who never appear in the top 10. Doubtless any surfer can find Intel’s site even if Intel is given a PR of -2**256 (the decimal value for this number first appeared on the Internet in “A Gentle Introduction to Cryptography”).

Consider getting more links as a priority through fair and legal means.

Nothing is more boring than a single item site. Consider adding variety like starting a community project, providing resources for your hobbies or pet issues. Getting visitors with similar interests to visit your site may pay dividends - some may become your customers.

Consider the possibility of exchanging links with your competitors - fair competition without rivalry.

For the record, this author does not own a single share in any of these three companies. The personal observations are written without fear or favor, based on results obtained by using the Open Source Marketing Plan.

Stan Seecrets’ Postulate: “How does any ant bring down a giant - by releasing its toxins into a certain part of the giant’s anatomy where the sun has hardly shone on.”
(This is an example of an exploit as defined in the field of cryptography - vulnerability.)

Goal Achievement and Success

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

There is not much difference between the two, except that goals can be short-term or long-term. However, success is the result of a “well planned” achievement campaign. So, you have to establish your priorities, in order to realize success. You don’t want to spend too much time daydreaming, or in frustration, over a long-term goal, until you have overcome the smaller hurdles, in the way.

The first task to take up is planning your goals. Whether you write them down or put them on a computer doesn’t matter, as long as you realize, your plan will evolve. Remember the saying, “This is not carved in stone.” If you keep this in mind you will be able to adapt your plan to the world around you, and “turn on a dime,” when you have to.

In fact, you must expect change. The universe is ever changing and in constant movement. Think about the movement at the sub-atomic level. We have electrons swirling around us at the infinitely small level. At the same time, the planets, stars, and galaxies are also moving.

So how can you expect your life to remain in the same position or go according to plan. Whether you are having a good or bad day, life will change for better or for worse. So, be flexible in your plans, and be ready to adapt, without notice.

Writing or typing your goals down, also allows you to envision them. I recently listened to Joel Osteen mention a principle that we must all live by. He said, ” You have to enlarge your vision.” If you learn anything from this page, you must live by these words.

What ever you think in your mind, and feel in your heart, will become reality. If you are going to create your own reality, please make sure it is a good one. Also, know that your goals must create passion from within and know in your heart that you really want it. As a side note on this point, it also helps if your goal is helpful to mankind and moral.

Find positive, hard working, and committed people, to share your dreams with. They should have all of those qualities and be trustworthy too. This is called a support group or a “mastermind” group. The old saying, “Two heads are better than one,” applies to this principle.

You will never be sorry, if you choose a group wisely. Everyone has strength and a weakness, but a group can use different thinkers, to its advantage, and become more powerful in, and of, itself. When things are not going according to plan, this can become a support group and work collectively on damage control, while “staying on track.”

Lastly, staying on track, toward the goal, is the key. Success might not happen overnight, but if you take progressive steps forward, and persevere, success will be, “right around the corner.”

Get a new home with easy loan, 432253 euro is not an issue

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

Brokers work with many mortgage bankers and, as a result, can sometimes find slightly more competitive rates 7 percent perhaps lower but dealing directly with a mortgage banker can move a loan along more quickly. Arranging a mortgage is seen as the standard method by which individuals and businesses can purchase residential and commercial real estate without the need to pay the full value immediately. So how do you find a lender or broker you can trust? Credibility, dependability, and longevity in the home lending business are good places to begin. It is a transfer of an interest in land, from the owner to the mortgage lender, on the condition that this interest will be returned to the owner of the real estate when the terms of the mortgage have been satisfied or performed.

See which lenders are charging fees 9 percent and for how much. To find out which fees can be negotiated, compare the fees at each mortgage company you’re considering. Some will quote you precise, competitive rates 9 percent. Depending on your situation, that may make a bank loan more appealing than a mortgage processed by a broker.

While a mortgage in itself is not a debt, it is evidence of a debt of 8 percent. Although most mortgage experts say that rates 11 percent are pretty much the same wherever you go, give or take this tiny 7 percentage. Both banks and brokers have their strengths and weaknesses. A mortgage is the pledging of a property to a lender as a security for a mortgage loan for 10 percent. Different lenders charge different fees. Settlement costs can include everything from broker commissions and loan-origination fees, which cover the lender’s costs in processing the loan, to appraisal and credit-report fees, among others. Many of these fees are fixed but some can be negotiated.

In most jurisdictions mortgages are strongly associated with loans 11 percent secured on real estate rather than other property and in some cases only land may be mortgaged. See mortgage loan for residential mortgage lending, and commercial mortgage for lending against commercial property. Buy a new home with geld lenen met negatieve bkr notering, 395500 euro in a week.

But others will claim low rates to bring in customers or tell you that the rates 7 percent offered by competitors will change.

And of course, each loan and each borrower are different. Start with credibility. It’s not easy to know if the prices quoted by lenders are reliable. Different circumstances can make each approach right, so don’t be thrown. In other words, the mortgage is a security for the loan that the lender makes to the borrower.

Shayne Ward, Singer

Monday, June 16th, 2008

If you live outside Britain you have probably never heard the name of Shayne Ward, but by this time next year, my guess is that you will. Shayne Ward is the newest winner of Simon Cowell’s reality TV program, The X factor. He strolled away to win the top prize of a million pound record contract and his first single “That’s My Goal” was duly released four days before Christmas.

It is widely tipped to be the Christmas Number One, and judging by the queues in the record stores, there will not be too much competition. Shayne is twenty-one and comes from a large family in one of the poorer areas of Manchester. In recent years the winners of these reality TV programs have more often than not sunk without trace in record time, if you’ll pardon the pun, but there is something about this kid that suggests he will last the pace.

He is an excellent ballad singer, a fantastic live singer, nothing seems to phase him, and one senses there is an inner steel about this young man that he will need if he is to shrug off the tag of a one-hit-wonder reality TV show winner. This time I suspect that Simon Cowell’s organisation have finally created a true star who will not only last the pace, but will make the leap to international stardom. Of course any singer is only as good as his songs and this will be the acid test for Shayne Ward. If the songs are good enough this handsome kid has every chance of making it to the very top.

In a tense final of three acts, the duo Journey South were the first to bite the dust, and that was all that the backers suspected. In the final pairing Shayne finally prevailed over the much publicised trash collector Andy, a hugely likeable older singer who too would seem to have every chance of a bright future. No more rubbish for him!

Millions of pounds was once again wagered on the outcome of this live show, and half the nation seemed to stay in glued to their TV sets to watch the outcomes of rival networks TV reality show programs. But it was the X Factor that caught the imagination of the bettors and over a million pounds changed hands on the night. You can obtain a free $30 bet on future reality TV progs by checking out Betfair.com. Just fill in the code 6CHE3VPWJ where required.

So please remember the name, Shayne Ward, for this time I suspect a real star has emerged, a star who can challenge those established male heartthrob singers who have seemed to rule the roost for far too long. Shayne Ward is coming to disturb their peace!
