European vacations don’t need to be expensive, and in fact there are plenty of cheap hotels in Amsterdam if you fancy a trip to the Netherlands. You don’t necessarily have to spend a lot of money to have a great vacation, and in a city like Amsterdam that’s certainly the case. There are plenty of bargain hotels, guest houses, and hostels to choose from so really it’s just a case of deciding which kind of accommodation suits you best.

That way you’ll get the best of both worlds with the homely atmosphere on the one hand, and the buzz of the city on the other. By staying close to the center you’ll also have easy access to parks, museums, galleries, and live entertainment. One thing’s for sure, Amsterdam takes its culture very seriously and whichever way you turn you’ll see artwork and museum exhibits, coupled with street entertainers singing their hearts out.
